So it's not just the Hawks that reach in the draft, packers took Myers instead of Humphrey
.It also carries weight that the Packers drafted Myers one pick earlier than Kansas City Chiefs lineman Creed Humphrey. Humphrey was almost unanimously viewed as a better prospect before the draft — he was the 41st prospect on The Athletic’s Consensus Big Board, while Josh Myers was the 71st. Humphrey had a great rookie season. He was selected to the PFWA All-Rookie Team and had a 91.4 PFF grade, while PFF gave Myers a below-average 58.3 grade.
Well, that just makes it all OK right? Lots of teams suck Donn, does that mean sucking is OK? The next time we lose, someone remind me that Houston sucks, so that makes it all OK. Good Lord.

So, pointing out how we weren't the only ones that fucked up and didn't draft a Humphries even though we needed a Center isn't making excuses for dumb shit? We drafted the next Paul Richardson instead of the next Max Unger, and it was dumb. Pointing out how someone else made a mistake too is nothing but an excuse.

Is Humphrey...I wasnt thinking about not drafting Humphrey in particular. I was thinking about the more general way the Hawks draft process is viewed. Trying to be smarter by making an obscure choice instead of the obvious. That packer decision reminded me of it.

What happened to Bruce Irvin? Wyman was saying he played poorly and pff seems to agree.
