1st option - trade up for Will Anderson (Jalen Carter not a bad fallback)Bil522 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 7:03 amThere is a total other side of the argument. What if some one offers you a next year #1 pick? What if you don't necessarily need star players at a spot(think a KJ Wright type) but you do need cheap depth....trading back allows you to get that depth. For the most part draft picks are better than UDFA to get you depth. Yes, hindsight in drafting is 20/20 but there is so much more that needs to be taken into an account when it comes to drafting.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 6:03 pmJust no other side to this argument.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 6:00 pmYes, which is why I will be pissed if we trade down. Don't add more quantity, add more quality. If they trade, it needs to be to move up for someone special, not move back and back for a higher number of mediocre.
I will say this....whoever was responsible for drafting the OL this past year needs a raise.
Use whatever you have in your arsenal to trade up for this dude. Legit sure fire lock. Pete would be foaming at the mouth to get this guy.
2nd - trade whatever picks you have for a 2024 1st. I'm telling you guys right now. This USC is LEGIT. Kid put on a show on Saturday. What their doing in Riley's 1st year at SC is nothing short of astounding. 1 legit NFL player on the entire roster this year. I'm using whatever picks I can to trade for a 1st next year. I'm not saying tank for Caleb WIlliams. Let the Houstons & Indys & Carolinas burn there picks this year on so-so talent. Another one to watch potentially is Anthony Richardson from Florida. He could go back for another & enter the 2024 draft. Looks like an ultra athletic type kid. So again no guarantees this year I'm just saying.
We all pray to God Denver chokes these last 4-6 games. The way they've been playing they should be underdogs in every game. Still don't think they've scored in the redzone at all this season (could be wrong).
The only other potentially glaring thing I think we could need is maybe a Center & that's it.
