yep - it wasn't the trade that fucked 'em. It was the contract. Russ was signed for 2 years, and if they'd just waited, they could've cut bait or at LEAST signed him for about half after this year. As it is, they are stuck with him for 7 years with no recourse. That video about cutting him is insane. They would have to cut half the team and sign about 30 UDFAs at minimum salaries just to field a team... and they have no draft capital to help with that.

Was it just me, or was it weird seeing the Broncos change the way their offense worked in the span of just a week? There were many reasons why Nathaniel Hackett was fired, but one of them has to be the fact that he talked about implementing a certain style of offense, and then just failing to do so. There’s just a new feeling surrounding the team right now, and it’s a breath of fresh air.
