Crack of Dawn Game thread

Post by D-train » Thu Nov 10, 2022 1:49 pm

I am straight up giddy at the prospect of morning Seahawks. First time since December 15th, 2019 at Carolina. Almost 3 years.

Go Hawks!!

I invited some ancient MI high school buddies over for crab cakes, eggs, roasted potatoes, peppers and onions -- and Bloody Mary's, but I doubt anyone will show up lol.

Why didn't they have two East coast teams play there so their fans wouldn't be completely.fucked over by the early start time? It's like the NFL just looks for ways to stick it to us every year. I guess the supposed large number of 49er fans among the NFL brass must have something to do with it.

Dude aren't you usually up at at the crack of dawn. I would love the start time even if if I still lived in WA.

Remember with Holmgren every time they had an East coast game with 10am start time they looked like they literally rolled out of bed 5 minutes before kick-off.

Yeah, funny how the belief that west coast teams couldn't win a 10 am road game went out the door when Pete took over here. Remember? They would show every West Coast team's record in 1pm EST games four time zones away and it was brutal. Pete apparently didn't buy in, and wouldn't allow the team to use the excuse.

That said, I agree. Why have a local team kick off at 6 am their time on a Sunday. I wonder how many PDT teams have kicked off that early back home? Didn't we play the Raiders over seas one year, at a normal time? Seems like Marshawn was in a Raiders uniform then too.
