Makes some sense
. The Bears GM took the best deal on the table and gave his scouting staff a chance to recalibrate with a little more than a month to go before the draft. While the Bears didn’t field as much as the Titans did from the Rams in 2016, the Rams were shooting from a historically low draft spot and, thus, had to add a premium. The biggest sweetener here for Poles is the addition of Moore, a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver, who would potentially field a low first or high second-round pick from a team as is.
Massive Haul for the Bears....
Bears could trade up to #5 and potentially get Will Anderson!

Carolina are looking to trade down. If they truly have their sights set on Stroud I don't see a viable partner besides the Texans which are at #2 and will likely draft Young.

Bizarre. Sounds like buyers remorse to me.

That's been my thought all along. The Hawks have taken or signed players with questionable backgrounds before. And taking Carter at the #5 slot fills a tremendous need.

They might be in love with Richardson or Levis just as much as Stroud. But yes, a bit of buyer's remorse seems right. They should've brought in a third trade partner from the start if they feel there's a team out there interested.

ESPN reporting that Carolina is "all in" on Richardson. Man, this is the most interesting draft ever. Just no telling how it'll break for us.

I don't think that reflects what seems the current attitude of the hawks in regards to character. Its going to be interesting what happens with Carter. If the Hawks want him I think they could trade down for him. Like they did with McDowell. But that's the thing, I don't think they want to repeat that.

Is this because you're a double secret agent that has infiltrated Carolina's front office?. LOL :D
