He was a valuable blocker. But, he literally got hurt or dinged up on every other play. He is always hurt. Can’t count on him to be there.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 7:02 pmThink Homer was more valuable than the board gave him credit. He is a good special teams guy, he is also a running back that could block, he could pick up a blitz as well as catch passes. He was a good value for the hawks on a rookie contract. That's really the nurs and bolts of good roster construction, cap management, guys like that

Maybe investing more in O line would result in more "durable" RBs. Or maybe they need to just draft tougher RBs.

I have no problem with drafting RBs, but C Mike in the second and Penny in the first were poor choices. I agree with Bill as well, we seem to need an excessive amount of backs. The last mock I did I took two.

Based on their scheme and philosophy they need to draft or sign two bowling ball type backs to complement Walker.

I'd prefer one bowling ball type (Charbonnet), and one third down type receiving/blocking type. We haven't had a good third down back in forever, and they're so handy. Walker can't pass block for spit, so it'd be nice to have a good blocker. Maybe an actual fullback, even.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 11:40 pmBased on their scheme and philosophy they need to draft or sign two bowling ball type backs to complement Walker.

They need someone as crazy as 2015 Thomas Rawls but in a 240 lb body.

Completely agree - i like Charbonnet, just not sure i want to spend as high a pick as it would take to get him.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 12:11 amI'd prefer one bowling ball type (Charbonnet), and one third down type receiving/blocking type. and as for 3rd down back (if we have any cap room left), JD McKissick anyone?
