Who was "FootballGirlAna" asking? McIntosh is so much better than DeeJay ever was or will be, and while DeeJay played a lot of special teams, he sucked at it, so not sure how "key" he was. On top of that, he's entering the last year of his rookie deal, so if anybody is competing for the #4 spot, I'd bet it's Dallas.
She was asking Bob C.

Yes, total woman question. lol We have carried 4 RBs for years, not going to suddenly go to three. And if we did it would be Dallas that would be cut.
I couldn't have told you the Seahawks carry 4 RB's....and I assure you, I do not have a vagina or identify as a female (woman).

That's just journalism 101, who doesn't know Donald is a former president
Prosecutors in former President Donald Trump's Manhattan criminal case have released to his attorneys a recording of Trump and a witness, whose identity was not disclosed, according to a document the office made public Friday
Yeah but it isn't like the Seattle Times interviewed him. It his employers website and the do it every single time. Just seems funny.

That was why he dropped. He's too slow to be a feature back. His only useful role is as a pass-catching threat.
Which is ironic because WRs are usually faster than RBs.....but I get it.
I guess it's more that he's slow to react at the LOS than that he runs slowly.
He lacks the vision to recognize and exploit opportunities quickly and the elusiveness to dart in and out of developing run lanes.

From that same article...
Strengths

Ran with better consistency as the 2022 season progressed.
Impressive burst to clear the line scrimmage.
Pure speed bolsters success as outside runner.
Able to crank up a forceful finish.
Above average contact balance in the open field.
Very natural pass-catcher out of the backfield.
Able to exploit linebackers with wheel routes.
Willing to step in and take on blitzers.
His combine 40 time was 4.62 so i don't know what he means by "pure speed".

I wonder where he would have been drafted if he did run it. Seemed like a surprise he was so slow.

watch his tape - from handoff to the first 5 yards he's as fast as 95% of RBs. He is quick and explosive - just doesn't have that flashy top-end speed. Neither did Marshawn or Carson. That 4.3 speed is great, but really only makes a difference once or twice a game.

He had a bad combine that doesn't reflect what he can actually do on the football field.

Sounds like he is damn good FOOTBALL player. That seems more important. I can see fans being obsessed with 40 times but seems teams are as well or somebody would have drafted him earlier...

I don't know about that. I'm no pro scout, but I watched a few of his games and saw the opposite. Quick feet, hit the hole fast. made people miss, then run over people for the extra couple yards. His pass catching is what really stood out, though - soft hands and a knack for getting open.
