Geno stutters in the moment- A quick shift offense with multiple sets/looks might not be a good fit for him, thinking Lock would do better in this situation but we will see-

Oh no that means I thought he was a Franchise QB and future HOFer. lol
I actually thought it was a toss up but preferred Lock because he was much younger and had less chances to prove himself so thought he had higher upside. Call me crazy.

I agree Smith will very likely be the starter based on his NFL experience - but he doesn't know this offense - it's a new offense. The question is can he learn it quickly - it's very heavy on personnel shifting to create match up advantages at the last minute - can he do that quickly and execute?
Yes, good point - what i should have said was that he is familiar with the receivers and their tendencies.

No way Schneider doesn't pick a QB somewhere. he's been wanting to for years and it seems Carroll was holding him back. It's his show now. You simply have to take a shot on drafting someone.
They don't have enough higher round draft picks to gamble one on a QB. I will be very disappointed if JS uses one for that purpose when they have huge needs at interior O and D lines.

I realize you guys have some sort of ongoing feud going on here, but it does provide some decent entertainment value for others here, did you consider that?

Why exactly? Lock is known for interceptions
