Would JS seriously consider trading up for Jayden Daniels?

if Daniels would slide down to 7 or 8 like he sometimes does on the Sim toy, i would think so, and definitely worth it.
But i just dont see that happening - far more likely the QBs go 1-2-3 with Daniels slightly favored for QB2.

But plan B of Penix late first/early 2nd still makes a lot of sense to me, especially given the new OC.
i still dont get all the growing McCarthy love - sure there is talent and intangibles, but not the volume to convince me he can be more than a game manager - that still seems a projection. and how often did he have to throw off-platform with that OL?

That's pretty amazing
It’s frankly unbelievable that Amarius Mims at 6-7 and 340lbs ran a 4.33 short shuttle. In comparison, Michigan cornerback Josh Wallace — who is 155lbs lighter than Mims, ran a 4.35. Aaron Donald, at 285lbs, ran a 4.39.

That is a miracle level speed for a 340 pounder.

"340 pounds isn't supposed to move like that." That was the general consensus following Amarius Mims' 5.07 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday.

my bad, it was a shuttle not a 40. Still very impressive.

The fact that his shuttle time was better than Aaron Donald is nothing to sneeze at.

In the 70s and 80s any human that weighted 340 would be considered mobidly obese and in need of significant healthcare intervention. Now they can be elite NFL athletes. Crazy

That was with a sore hamstring (according to Mimms). So he can probably go under 5 seconds when healthy.

If he can catch a football i might consider lining him up at TE the way the Seahawks did with Fant (the OT).

I knew I should have played football.
