It is growing on me. Thinking about a front of Reed, Williams, Jones and Murphy with Mafe and Nwosu on the edges with Hall and Turner in the mix.

It looks like Denver liked Nix as much as I did lol.

There's a few guys on the board that I really like. If they wanted to move up for a blocker the names that stand out for me are Roger Rosengarten and Christian Haynes.
What do you think of Murphy?
I think he was a steal! I love the kid. He got his degree from UT which is a highly rated academic college. And it only took him 3 years!

Listening to him when he speaks, you can tell that he's humble, determined, and dedicated to his craft. Completely different character than Malik McDowell. They hit a homerun with this pick.

Murphy is not Donald. However, I feel good about the draft pick.
100% exactly right. He doesn't have the first step quickness that Donald does. His body type and size is similar, but that's about it. He's going to be a fantastic run stuffer! When I think of Murphy's production I think more along the lines of someone like Grady Jarrett.

Exactly!!! I'm hoping we grab an interior O-Line! There will be good talent on the board until the 4th Round. That's around the time when the talent drops off the board.

We are going to be at an Oxygen Bar round 2 but hopefully we get an IOL at 81

I'm curious to see if we trade up. Especially after the talent drop-off. Some really like Spencer Rattler, but he doesn't wow me. I've heard there might be a linebacker or two in the 2nd worth taking, but I haven't kept up on the pool of DB/LB's this year.

Third Round now, about 8 picks in (#72).
13 picks until Seahawks at #81.

My choices:

OG Christian Mahogany
OG Zac Zinter
OL Delmar Glaze Dammit - gone at 77
C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger
OG Dominick Puni
OG Mason McCormick
OL Beaux Limmer
OT Matt Goncalves Fudgepuckers - Colts grabbed him at 79.

OTHER:
WR Johnny Wilson

Cade Stover TE
Jared Wiley TE
Theo Johnson TE
Tip Reiman TE
Ja'Tavion Sanders TE

DeWayne Carter DT
Leonard Taylor III DT
McKinnley Jackson DT
Khristian Boyd DT

James Williams LB
Tommy Eichenberg LB

All my favorite Edge/DE's are gone already.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

He played out of position at outside linebacker the second half of the year because of Uchenna Nwosu’s injury, so perhaps his 2023 numbers aren’t indicative of what he can do with a better coaching staff, playing his natural position full-time
Jones, I didn't know that, was that taken into consideration when we were complaining about his PFF numbers? Yeah, if mcdonald can increase his production they are going to have some talent along the line
