have a feeling Connor could be a BIG reason for optimism this year, and perhaps beyond. Even if Nick Harris won the job we would be better off at the center spot than we have been since Unger, but with Olu and Connor, plus Laken, Haynes, Bradford and Laumea at the G spots, we are WAY deeper than we have been on the interior. Combine that with Grubb's playcalling and Geno's steadiness in the pocket as opposed to Russell's deep drop sack creations, and this could easily turn into the best OL we've had since the Big Walt and Hutch crew of the Holmgren years.

Something beyond all that would be stability. When a line works together for multiple years they get better at communicating, knowing how to hand off guys running stunts and overall continuity.

Absolutely, JS has spoken to it, considers it more important than talent, this from 2016. And it's something they haven't had much success at

I think cohesion is really... when I look at offensive lines, and the really good offensive lines that I have been around, cohesion and being able to play together more so than the pure talent of a guy," said Schneider at the Combine, "that is really quick or super flexible or rates specifically in an athletic manner

Well, with an entirely new interior o-line, cohesion may take an entire season to achieve.
