Only two games but still other than Josh Allen who would have predicted this two years ago.

Yep, time to lock him up before he gets more expensive - no need to wait till offseason imho.

Is AZ going to be a problem?

He's a smaller faster "Dangeruss". He can buy time and extend plays and he has break away speed. He is a danger and he has a bigtime WR in Marvin H Jr. Ao, yes he, and they could be but he tends to get banged up as the season goes along. I don't know much about their D other than Baker.

yeah Geno, he's won me over. Not a Tier 1 franchise maker, but there are only 2 or 3 those guys in the league. He's good enough to win with, even with a banged up line, at least against the mediocre teams. Seems to be a good fit with the new playcaller, which i think will help his strengths and mitigate his weaknesses. Combine that with the chemistry he has with the receiving corps and the respect he has from teammates. Whatever tier that was the pundits said he was near the bottom of, i think he's moved ahead a tier or at least advanced to the front end of it. Those guys all get paid, no reason to think Geno won't also by somebody. Probably get a hometown discount here, especially now before he posts better numbers this year than he did last, as i think we all expect under Grubb instead of Waldron/Carroll.

I'm not arguing with the positive things you point out about Geno, but I'm not convinced the Seahawks are risking losing
money by not negotiating before the end of the season. Geno would have never signed the contract he has now if there
was a lot of interest from other teams for more than the Seahawks paid. Gee Scott, who I usually don't pay much
attention to, once said, profoundly, "the NFL pays the big money for 'potential'". There's not as much potential with a
34 year old. I guess what I'm saying is even if Geno does light it up this year and end the year healthy, Geno will still
likely be a Seahawk. By waiting, you get the advantage of seeing just how much he does light it up and just how
healthy he is at the end of the year.

He's got another year on his contact, i hadn't realized that when i brought up an extension earlier. Not sure why you would need to do it this season
