Playoffs

We need to take care of business and beat the Jets Sunday. I think we will given we have been East Coast road warriors for years.
I don't see the Cardinals beating the 9-2 Vikings on the road after what I saw Sunday.
That would leave us 7-5 and them 6-6.
Then in the biggest game of the year we play them in Glendale. If we win we are 8-5 and they are 6-7 so we would have a 3 game lead with the tie breaker with only 4 to go which would essentially lock up the division barring a massive choke job.
Here is the playoff machine which always you to run all scenarios. We can still win it if we lose in AZ but it makes it much tougher.

It's interesting how each game seems to have a special significance. This one is about some consistency! That's what winning is about in any sport. If they lay another egg again...,

Right now, looking over the final 6 games I would say 4-2. And that would = playoffs and probably the 3 seed. 10-7.
But if they put together the defense from the Cards game with a productive offense and drop the bone headed plays? Sky is the limit.

The odds according to Aaron Schatz (of the now defunct footballoutsiders .com) and the DVOA team at ftnfantasy .com...

Obviously not closely but I appreciated what they were attempting to do as opposed to PFF. PFF is qualitative, it's based on opinion. It's someone giving an opinion that's given a numerical ranking. Football outsiders on the other hand was quantitative. It's analysis was based on statistics not observation, it was analytics

Yeah i read a
really long description of what DVOA is on that website i linked to earlier today and was impressed. I was all set to sign up to get the full tables (including an analysis of offensive lines) but they require that you subscribe for an entire year and i'm not going to pay $120 just to get further confirmation that the Seahawks O line is terrible.

Week 13 seems too easy for the Seattle Seahawks. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets were expected by many to compete for a Super Bowl this year, but just like every year seemingly goes for the Jets, they have failed. The team still has Rodgers but has fired their head coach and general manager since the beginning of the season, and appears to be floating in the water waiting for 2025. That makes Sunday scary
They are not allowed a trap game, that's an excuse

It is impossible to quantify O Line and D line play.
