Seahawks vs. Jets Game Thread 12/1/24

Post by maoling » Sat Nov 30, 2024 11:18 pm

Dear Seahawks,

Just for once, please start the game hot and give me a stress-free laugher. I am a widower living alone without a Life Alert Button. The constant sphincter-puckering anxiety I experience throughout your games may one day lead to a stroke or cardiac event.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

maoling

Something like the Atlanta game would be nice.

That's interesting news, guard
Sixth-round pick Sataoa Laumea, who’s not even been active on gameday, much less played a regular season snap, will make his NFL debut on Sunday against the New York Jets. Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed the decision to reporters on Friday.

“He’s earned it,” Macdonald said of Laumea
. There’s obviously quite a bit that Haynes, the team’s third-round selection, has shown (or not shown) in practice and in his playing time that has the coaching staff believing he’s not ready for primetime. He lost the training camp competition to Bradford, and now he’s effectively the third-string right guard with Laumea beating him out on this occasion.

They also elevated Jaren Hall so going with three QBs, seems odd

Olu got his first start at C last week and looked fairly good. One can hop the same for Satoa.

It wasn't Olu's first career start, it is interesting having your NFL debut be a start. Hopefully it won't seem desperate. It's similar to the Michael Jerrell situation

You heard him Seahawks, no Life Alert Button. Don't make maoling fall because he can't get up 😄

I'm one of the very few people that doesn't hate Aaron Rogers. I was hoping for him to make it back to relevance
as a kick to the gut of the woke crowd that hates him. Rogers is washed though. He should just retire. And should
probably do it before today's game starts.

With that said, none of us would be completely surprised if the Seahawks shit the bed today.
We would be pissed, but not surprised. I would feel a lot more confident with this team if they handle business
and easily defeat the dysfunctional Jets. We'll see.

Massive miss for a 3rd round pick.
