29 sign during early signing!
Damn, that is a lot of players. The average ranking places us pretty mediocre, but since we had 29 total players? I saw one ranking that had us at 18, another inside the top 25.

I'm trying real hard to get over the beginning of this season, and the ugly taste in my mouth after losing to WSU and Rutgers. Hell, even Indiana and Iowa. I thought they were decent teams but we just played like absolute trash. How do we beat Michigan in the same season they beat Ohio State, yet we lose to WSU and Donn's favorite team?
Imagine how different we'd feel at 8 and 4 going to the Bowl game?

What happened in that Rutgers game should not even be possible. Out gained them by over 200 yards without a turnover and somehow lost.

The problem, in my eyes, is that it was very similar to the horribly undisciplined BS we saw in the Apple Cup. That shit frustrates me. Maybe he needed some time to get his kids on the same page as his coaching staff, but it was sure hard to watch.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 9:47 pmWhat happened in that Rutgers game should not even be possible. There’s some nice pieces like the 2 instate LBs we have. But then there’s also like 6 or 7 guys we beat Mountain West schools for which doesn’t have me excited.

They got a ton. Lost one to Oregon, but I was stunned that was such a big deal. The dude is like 30 to 50 lbs lighter than everyone else we recruited!

Champ Taulealea 6-4/325 position rank 19
Jack Shaffer 6-6/315 position rank 40
John Mills 6-6/320 position rank 45
Jake Flores 6-6/275 position rank 68
Peter Langi 6-5/330 position rank 80
Lowen Colman-Brusa 6-5/285 position rank 142
Don't know if they will be any good or not but they sure got some height on them.
