Re: Week 1 - UW vs UC Davis
Excited To see what the team looks like with a full year of preparation under their belt and Fisch's own QB running things. I feel like they might be sneaky good this year.

Love these low information game threads. You could at least post the date and time of the game, but apparently it was a big enough task for you to figure out the opponent.

So it's this week-end? Had no idea the season was already here. 8 pm seems kind of a late start, that's 9pm in Colorado right?

Pretty crass and obscene to make people stay up from 9 'til midnight to watch their team play. Money money money...

Meh, it's a Saturday. I realize it's a bit of a competitive disadvantage...and I always hated how the Pac 12 would take there title contenders and put them on a road to play a Friday night game, virtually ensuring that we would have upsets and end up out of the Final 4 picture. BUT....damn I love watching Friday and Saturday night games in college football!Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 12:17 amPretty crass and obscene to make people stay up from 9 'til midnight to watch their team play. Re: Week 1 - UW vs Col State
I honestly don't know what to expect from this game. The things that I know:
1. Williams will run, run, run. He seems to be the future and had a decent performance in the Tony The Tiger Bowl. I can't help but think another off-season with weights, the playbook and reps will do him nothing but great things.
2. The offensive line will be vastly improved. Last year at this time we barely had a line. In March of 2024, we didn't have an offensive line, so once again, I see vast improvement. A lot of the same guys from last season and some new talent cannot hurt. Another year of weights and reps, I am excited to see what we have.
3. The defense (as a whole) is getting a lot of press. I don't know the DC, but I keep reading good things about him.
This is the first meeting between UW and Colorado State. The current line sits at 21. I don't think we will cover; only because we will play reserves from half way through the 3rd quarter.
UW - 42
CSU - 24
