Dawg Days of September
Re: Dawg Days of September
5 sacks of Desmond by OSU ain't pretty. Dawg o-line is failing today against #1 ranked Buckeyes.

The UW left tackle got knocked out of the game in the 2nd quarter. Seems like that was about when things started going awry.
Re: Dawg Days of September
that wouldnt work last Saturday the way Ohio St. schemed it perfectly - they kept both Edges manning the outside lane, not even pursuing upfield, just playing contain so Demond couldnt break the pocket. Then they had a LB/S spying him as well. Brilliant coaching because with their suprior talent he was the one and only guy that they needed to fear. Their middle front 7 and back end coverage guys are so talented they could get away with that even though it often allowed Demond a good bit of time in the pocket. Against lesser talent you should get more in the downfield passing game versus that scheme, but they got some dudes.

This 18 point loss which was really a one-score game through 3 quarters is starting to look pretty good now, now that OSU is a clear #1 and that being the Dawgs only loss so far. should finally crack the rankings if the rush D can hold up in the Big House.

Our remaining schedule is looking fairly weak. If we get through these next two we might just be playing Oregon with a trip to the playoffs on the line.
