"I feel like Denzel Boston covered a lot of warts for the offense last year. They're unproven at wideout and that scares me. This sort of reminds me of when the Dawgs were running Aaron Fuller and Andre Baccellia during Browning's senior year and Eason's only year. Roebuck is a good player but will he take that next leap forward? Then you've got a couple of unproven guys slated to start. With a great QB like Demond, I'd rather this position group be more established.
Defensively, they'll be very stout at linebacker and in the secondary. They have talent on the line, but it doesn't jump off the page at you. The Dawgs have really struggled generating pressure under Fisch... last year they were 106th out of 136 in sack %.
College football success = can you stretch the field in the passing game and can you get to the QB on defense... I'm not confident they can do either.
I've also never felt great about Jedd Fisch and I hate him as a play caller. I feel like he overthinks things and he gets in his own way. I'm also not sure about him from a leadership standpoint and truly setting that standard. He's kind of like an early Sark to me."
