Hardy was pretty well regarded, and didn't Bey play some PG last year? Green becoming eligible in January isn't the most convenient thing in the world, but I don't think it will cripple us.

today's ST article says they are petitioning for a waiver to allow Green to play a full season. not sure what basis they have, other than the different schedule (terms vs. semesters) whereby he could be eligible earlier at some other school. would sure be nice, otherwise Hardy gets thrown in the fire. btw, that same article related a tidbit i was unaware of - that hardy's progress was hindered last year after a hand injury in the fall. was wondering why couldnt earn any more PT - makes me feel better about his future at least, and perhaps a little less concerned if the Green petition is denied.
