I still don't get how they couldn't win with Jayden McDaniel, Quade Green, and that guy who was the #1 Forward in the nation out of HS(Stewart?).
Both McDaniels and Stewart appear to have been pretty overrated.

Stewart didn't have the technical skills offensively to carry a team. He was basically just a bruiser that played way to out of control. He had no outside shot which kills you in today's game. He had no touch around the rim. It was basically just back you down and dunk it or hit a layup. Or he just out hustled you for a rebound and got a free quick bucket. He's always going to be more of a backup big man in the pros

McDaniels was really immature and had little control over his body. He had a decent shot but it was a nightmare watching him handle the basketball. He averaged 3.2 turnovers and 3.3 personal fouls per game which is a lot.

Quade was already a burnout by the time he arrived at UW. He was an OK college player... not really above average in any skill set. He was a poor outside shooter, he turned the ball over a lot, he played out of control when driving... just bleh.

Stars mean a little bit, but I'm already more impressed with Mennifield as a true frosh than I was impressed with Green's game.

Next up the Ospreys of North Florida on Friday. They just got jacked by Gonzaga 104-63.

So I guess we were missing a couple guys but Gonzaga beat that team by 40+ and we won by 8 last night. Yikes.

FOUR Pac12 teams lost last night including the Ducks losing by 13 to UC Irvine.

Yep, losing that game at home? Shouldn't have even been allowed to walk into the locker room after. HORRIBLE.

So is that worse than when they lost to Stoney Brook under Romar?

That team wasn't even ranked in the All Baptist school top 25.

Hard to say. Romar not being able to win with the elite talent he brought in has always been a sore subject with me. I don't know enough about the kids that Hop has to make much of an assumption on how good they should be...but no Pac 12 team should lose to California Baptist. And, this game was never close in the second half. I know that with just over a minute left my buddy that has the misfortune of having the Pac 12 net texted me that we were down 12! That's bad, real bad.

As far as losses go, it might be the all time worst, because if this team doesn't have the talent to win, that is on Hop too. Right?
