2023 Week 1: UW Football-Boise State
Re: 2023 Week 1: UW Football-Boise State
Besides the secondary, i am a little unsure of our redzone/short yardage offense.
Good thing for the RB depth behind Taulapapa and Davis - nice to have Newton back and he may yet be our best short yardage guy. Adams showed flashes too.
Other than that the O is ridiculous - expect a slight dropoff in pass pro but with all those weapons and brilliant playcalling they should definitely light up the scoreboards.
And then all those Edges turned loose on opposing QBs playing catchup - should be a lot of fun again.

You know Taulapapa played for the Hawks in preseason, right?57reasons wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 8:16 pmBesides the secondary, i am a little unsure of our redzone/short yardage offense.

Off to Auburn for the night, then to the game tomorrow.
It will be my first UW Football game since the Las Vegas Bowl. Should be fun.

yeah, depth behind Taulapapa and Davis because both are now out this season - one to graduation and one to injury. guess i could've been more clear.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 8:59 pmYou know Taulapapa played for the Hawks in preseason, right?57reasons wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 8:16 pmBesides the secondary, i am a little unsure of our redzone/short yardage offense.
