Who needs prepsters when you have the portal? another example of why we dont need to panic over a lowly-rated prep class this year (still in the 40's last i saw) - seems they are much more focused on the 25 class than they are 2024 in terms of high schoolers, and fill in the gaps with grad transfers. This guy seems to have better size than we've typically had at ILB - good thing to have in the Big10 (or is it Big18 now?)

Loved hearing Dillon Johnson the other day talking up not only Rogers but also fellow teammate CB D. Richardson, who is more highly rated as the #40 overall transfer prospect by 247. Anyone who watched Elijah Jackson get torched all season could appreciate what an upgrade Richardson could be to the secondary. Johnson recruiting a second former teammate might also amount to recruiting himself back for another season while he's at it.
