I am pretty confidant going into the natty. Having watched Michigan several times, I don't think they're better than Texas on either side of the ball. Looking at the stats we absolutely dominated Texas. Clean a few things up and we win that game by 3 scores.
Yep Texas beat Bama by 10 and Michigan had to have a comeback and go to OT to beat them. At the worst it will be an equal match up.

Speaking of moronic play calls, you supposedly have the best college football coach of all time and Alabama runs a QB draw right into the teeth of the defense from 4 yards out on 4th down??? My God why didn't they just kneel down.
Tim Hasselbeck broke that play down, the low snap ruined it. The O Lineman pulling was already past before the QB got going. Otherwise it works. Still? I’d have probably not called that. Let him run it out wider. That said, based on the lineman that pulled? I think it was supposed to go between Guard and Tackle and the snap messed the timing, the QB panicked and went between Guard and Center.

Darren: We got screwed on the Heisman. Mikey: "Hey Jimmy. How do you like them apples?" Woof
Man, it’s really too bad the voters don’t pay attention to anything but stats and highlights. I realize the Huskies weren’t telling the work Penix was hurt, but anyone that watched them this year and didn’t know is crazy. He broke a rib against Oregon, I’ll go to my grave saying it.

Last night was what he looked like before and during the Oregon game. I texted a buddy when the Bama kid missed two straight deep balls. He literally threw his WR into coverage, one was a WR on a Safety! Penix would have completed both of them, and he showed it last night. Fucking unreal performance by that kid.

Jimmy has to be watching this and wondering why his philosophy on football was so damn bad. But, that would require him to not be a narcissist jackwagon. I’m sure he still believes his 5 man front defense and run the damn ball offense would have worked out. He’s that big of an ass. I’ve talked to a few local coaches describe how he acts. He never should have been the man, and the fact Coach Pete recommended him disappoints me. That said? It was all a part of the path to get here. I’d have loved it if we had gotten KDB back then, but I wouldn’t change a thing right now.

BTW, did anyone see the few shots on the sideline last night of the Mack kid? Brock is right, the dude is a grown ass man!

Virtually nobody in the media is mentioning all the ridiculous things that happened that even gave Texas the chance to win. Just really weird. If Texas had pulled it off it would have been one of the biggest choke jobs in sports history.

And again, they need to change that injury them stoppage rule, it's beyond stupid that it should affect the team that's TRYING TO RUN THE CLOCK DOWN.

About 11 insane improbable things had to happen to put them in position to win the game and they ALL happened.
Reminded me of the Hawk game against the Ravens in 2003 where that many things happened including a 4th and 29th pass that was tipped and stuck in their WR's armpit.

They have been mentioning it. I think it was Orlaksky last night who called Texas lucky.

I just hope we learn from this. We keep winning anyway, but these mistakes can really add up. There was a lot of time left in the fourth quarter when we called the flea flicker. And throwing incomplete in third down before the FG is inexcusable. Imagine Texas at the end with one less timeout!? Even the injury wouldn't have saved them.
