Oh man, this team. They play against a good team like Oregon, Oregon State, Utah or Arizona, they do just enough to win. They play against a shitty team like Washington State, Stanford, or Arizona State, they do just enough to win. Because of that I actually have faith in this team against Oregon...although they could just as easily blow us out this time.

Ballsy fourth down call, and even though they tried really hard to blow the game, Gross made the damn kick. 12-0!

Penix is really becoming a problem. 366 yards the last two games with good protection and all these weapons. Put Nix on this team and today is an ass-kicking.

This was the definition of limping over the finish line. This is not the same team as they were to open the season. Don't know what happened to the offense.

The trajectory of the two teams since we beat Oregon? How crazy. Oregon has treated it like they had something to prove, and we have just kind of been meh. So strange.

I tend to disagree.
Nix cannot throw the ball downfield. A great majority of his throws are 3-5 yards on his side of the line of scrimmage, then he lets better players pad his stats.

Is anyone worried about this game? Wasn't until they killed Colorado. But I guess Colorado sucks so probably not a big deal.

Dawgs haven't won by more than 10 points since September.

Yeah, the Cougs were a 1 man team this year. They had some flashes but just too many holes.

Well, it's Arizona or Oregon, and we did beat them both. This was bad, and what scares me is our Coaches and QB seem to be scared.

That said? The Cougar team that has played the last two weeks is not the one that lost six straight. Do I think it should have been this close? Hell no. But my Cousin is a WSU alum and asked me yesterday about the fifteen point spread. I said zero chance we win by that much. I expected it to be close, but not in the manner it was.

Again, Penix, DeBoer and Grubb need to get their shit together. We tried to blow the Utah game the same way. Stop doing dumb shit and play like a team that actually believes you are better. And maybe that's not true? Because does anyone think Penix believes is himself right now? He has just been mediocre to bad lately.

Got er done. Hasn't been a pretty season by any means and there is not a lot of reason to feel confident going into the post season, but this team is gutty in crunch time and just finds a way to win. This is the first and only team since the Conference went to 12 teams to go 9-0 in conference play and that's saying something.
