Like a shark movie? 47 miles down?

Seriously? They are only separated by 47 miles? I really did not know that. It must be damn hard to be a Beaver fan living 47 miles away from that...when they basically never win!

We live forever away, and it still kills me that we basically shit the bed every time we play those fuckers. Other than Browning's point, am I the only one that feels all the emotion in that game is always in Green and Gold? They hate us, and we act scared of them.

i grew up in Eugene, when UW owned the "rivalry". Back then UO was in constant fear of being expelled from the conference along with the Beavers and perhaps Wazzu too, due to the long track record of losing as well as major money problems. but the fan base that did exist was staunchly loyal and fierce, and always detested UW not only for their dominance but also out of envy for their resources. As a smallish city/college town, there is the natural underdog mentality and disdain for the big city rival. They always thought (and still do) UW fans were spoiled and arrogant (not wholly untrue, particularly in that era). You know all that angst and relief behind Jake Browning's finger-point? that's the same feeling that whole team/school/fan base has had against UW for the last 30 years.

I wish someone on the coaching staff had a little finger point hate. Maybe then we dont take the QB off the field for the fucking wildcat last year or decide to sit on the ball and opt for a long FG from a walk on kicker the year before.

We should be talking about 5 straight, but because the site of Oregon scares the shit out of Petersen...while he was here they beat us 4 of 6 years!

Not going to miss CP and I won't miss his mirror image PC when he's gone either.

Besides Oregon, multiple times, and the fumble at AZ? Most of the time I only had one issue with Pete...and that was his penchant for hiring his buddies with zero experience to run the offense.

He absolutely rescued this program. Seven Sarkisian wouldn't have made even one NY6, let alone a Final 4. Here's hoping were still in good hands with Lake. I think we are, but already worried about the new OC. It was an interesting hire, to say the least.

i'm concerned with the slow to start to recruiting this year. with the all-time record in-state talent this year, was supposed to be a banner year. still could be if by some miracle they turn things around with JT and Emeka, but not looking likely at this point. yes happy about Sam, Latu, hopefully Tinae and maybe even Prentice fairly soon, but Simon going to SC and top WR Franklin and CB Davies to Oregon really hurts, particularly those latter two as they were priority targets who would seem to be perfect fits. better get busy!
