To me, Georgia had the best season of those teams and should still be the 1 seed playing Cincinnati. But Whatever. Looks like Bama will get a rematch with Georgia probably with the same result.

But Georgia went head to head with Bama and lost pretty badly.

As for Bama vs Cin....I hope Bama totally dominates them....28-0 at halftime, then coasts to a 42-14 final score.

No, it's not that it's Cincy. It's that they have 1 quality win on their schedule. It's the exact same beef I have with Boise State thinking they are all that 15 years ago. They have to game-plan for 1 game at the beginning of the season......coast through their conference, then game plan for a Bowl Game.

Not the makings of a Championship team.

It's almost like the SEC that only plays 8 conference game a season, not 9 like the Pac.

I sort of agree, although they beat #20 Houston also, and SMU was ranked #19 a couple weeks before they played them. Besides, would you rather that Notre Dame was in there despite losing to Cincy?

I'm not sure ND is deserving either.
They just squeaked by FSU, Toledo & VT, but they did improve over the season by clobbering Wisconsin, USC and Stanford (among others).

I think they will lose to Oklahoma State by 17.

Georgia plays in the SEC, where you only play half the Conference. If this game had happened during the regular season, and Bama kicked the shit out of them, would you still say this? The SEC's shortened Conference schedule gets over looked so much it makes me sick. They have 14 teams in the Conference, same as the ACC and Big 10 and more than the Pac and Big 12. Yet they take AWAY a Conference game to play some directional patsy in November. How convenient.

Georgia did NOT have the best season because the best team in their Conference spotted them 10 first QTR points and spent the next three quarters punching them in the damn mouth!

Epic Rose Bowl. P12s only hope to avoid complete humiliation.
