Here is kind of a neat blast from the past. I believe it was my senior year in 67-68. A bunch of us drove up to Eugene to watch he Dawgs play a horrible Oregon team. We ended up winning big. Our kicker who I think was Donnie Martin was a little guy. My best friend noticed that Oregon had a big guy who was "targeting" him on every kickoff. After our last score late in the blowout I noticed our tight end, Clyde Werner if think, was kicking off instead of Martin. He was about 6-6 and 250lbs. We zeroed in and watched as he kicked, picked up speed and ran over the targeter like a Mack Truck over a VW Bug. Don't know how we noticed it as we were feeling no pain.
Where in the hell did you live that you drove UP to Eugene???
On Campus in McMahon Hall. I don't even remember who drove. It might have been the opening of Autzen Stadium.
Ok well here on Earth, going South is known as DOWN. I will buy you Globe for Christmas. And you were a teacher??? lol

I lived in Lander but met a little hottie in McMahon Fall of 1987. Walked her back to my room in Lander for some sexy time. Next morning my highly religious virgin roommate gave me a talk that we made him uncomfortable. I said, "I was thinking you might learn something"

Atta Kid. As you would be aware McMahon was built with clusters of rooms. My room was next to the campus President of Campus Crusade for Christ. He was a great kid but not always happy with some of our exploits. He used to argue religion with one of my room mates who was a 35 year old Chinese pharmacy student and Budist. It was intriguing to listen to.

Yes, liked that cluster set up FAR better than Lander which was basically like hotel rooms only smaller and no bathrooms in the room. Not much better than my Barracks at Ft. Leonard Wood in MO.
