Coleman, Jackson and Boston should help us get over the loss of last year's big three.

I think we have the wrong qb starting.

You may very well be correct!

We look pretty good at the skill positions but not so hot in the trenches and that doesn’t bode well

Yeah, not a great situation in year one of the BIG. We might get absolutely mauled by a few of the big boys. It's not a horrible schedule though, so six to eight wins seems like it would be not so terrible. Have to expect some growing pains with an entirely new coaching staff and a roster made up of what, 70% new players?
If Fisch sticks around I have faith in him getting this team in the Top 10 or 20 again, with a possible Final 4 run here or there. But I have less faith that he sticks it out. I hope I am wrong there.

hmm, call me a homer but i was more impressed than the rest of you with last night's showing. Coleman is an absolute beast, as good as expected.
Expected the OL to struggle (even vs. Weber St), given the top 8 of them leaving, replaced by lesser talent across the board, but they did not, especially in the ground game. Passing game will need to diversify beyond Boston and Jackson, but that should come. Secondary is the best we've had since Lake was a DC. The one huge concern is the rush D of course - likely to be a problem all year once we hit the conference schedule.
