Next week doesn't get any easier. Utah has a great defense. And today they lit up ASU 55-3.
As mad as the defense got me, as frustrated as I was at Penix's 3rd Qtr pick? This team just finds a way to win. I don't see Utah scoring like that against us, and while I know that Utah plays much better defense than USC? Oregon has a pretty damn good defense too.

The more I doubt and bitch and get pissed off!? They more they price me wrong. Can't tackle? How about a huge 3rd down sack? Can't run the ball? DJ says hold my beer! Damn, what a ride!

Thought we may want to discuss this upcoming game a bit more since it's so interesting.
The current Heisman Winner vs the upcoming Heisman Winner (I want DT to get his $1800).

O/U is currently at 76.5
At this time, I say take the over.

Current spread is at UW -4.
I say to take UW and give the points to USC.

Discuss!!
You nailed both!

47-34. Good guys.
Predicted a 13 point win and we won by 10. Only 5 points off on our score. I shall take it.

A healthy penis is always a good thing!!

Now, what will happen?

I see our defense giving up big plays, but doing enough to keep a lead. I also see Williams eating up our rush ends if they keep over-pursuing.

With no turnovers....

I see UW getting somewhere around 45-50 points
I also see USC getting somewhere around 45 points.

We have a higher top end because the USC defense is BAD!!
But is our defense much better? The advanced stats say it is, but we are at the Coliseum playing the current Heisman Winner.
I realize that my score prediction was a bit wishey-washey, but I was in the ballpark.
UW 52
SC 42

These officials are SHIT!
No kidding. The PI on Jackson was non-existant. Our lineman got his helmet ripped off by the face mask and they call a personal foul on us because he kept playing. There was a tripping call that flat out didn't happen. Two of their TDs were blatant offensive PI. And then there was the play where their guy caught the ball tucked it and took 3 steps before our defender knocked it out and they called it incomplete instead of a fumble. Just absolute garbage officiating.

Don't worry. Next month they will be able to forever focus solely on their day jobs at Walmart, McDonalds and Jiffy Lube.

There is going to be a lot of hand wringing about the defense but honestly if you put any other qb besides Williams in that game I don't think SC would have even scored 30 points. The dude is incredible. There were probably 8-10 times where it looked like they had him dead to rights and he school yard played it into big gains. I think we are going to be fine against Utah and the Pac 2 schools and I expect another tight nail biter in the ship against the toilet seats.

Utah scored 6 vs. Oregon and 55 vs. ASU

We scored 36 vs. Oregon and 15 vs. ASU

Make it make sense.
