If Alabama beats Georgia What do you guys think would happen if UW, FSU, Texas, and the OSU/Michigan winner all win out. Do you think they would put Alabama in over Texas even with the head to head loss?
Seems ridiculous, but that is what I think. There is a LOT of buzz about Bama right now. If they beat the #2 in CFP and the #1 in the AP, and DON'T get in? What would suck is that in that situation? The best four teams might very well be the Big 10 survivor, UW, Texas and Bama. But? They won't have the balls to omit an undefeated Conference Champ. Even if that Conference sucks, like the ACC.

A Louisville win over FSU would be good.

Honestly if we lose to Oregon, I think there is a pretty decent Chance that we end up with one undefeated team and 8 one loss teams.

13-0 OSU/Michigan winner Big 10 Champ
12-1 Louisville ACC Champ
12-1 Texas Big 12 Champ
12-1 Oregon Pac 12 Champ
12-1 Alabama SEC Champ
12-1 Florida State
12-1 Washington
12-1 Georgia
11-1 OSU/Michigan Loser

If UW wasn't involved I would actually be rooting for that to happen just to watch people squirm.

No doubt, that would be fun to watch them justify their pathetic four team playoff bullshit. That said, that would even be fun next year. Four of those teams would get a bye, and there could be some fun matchups. And? One of those teams would be a ROAD team in the first round!

If the 12 teams were this year and your scenario happens? I think the Champ that wouldn't get the Bye would be Louisville. So Big 10 Champ is #1, Bama is #2, Oregon is #3 and Texas is #4. I'd be somewhat surprised if Oregon and Bama flip flopped, but it could happen. I just see all the Bama and SEC love winning the day.

Louisville would be the luckiest #5 seed ever and play a 12 seed
Georgia would easily secure the #6 seed and play an 11 seed
Big 10 left over gets the #7 seed and plays the 10 seed.
I believe that based on resume? Washington would get the #8 and host #9 FSU. That is what SHOULD happen. BUT, would they make themselves look ignorant and watch them both lose, but flip flop them in the rankings? Zero chance an FSU team with one Top 25 should trump a UW team with four, and one that had split with Oregon. BUT....stranger things have happened.

If your scenario happened? I think there would be a HUGE push to do away with Conference Championship games.

Michigan only wins by 7 vs. a 6-5/3-5 team. Of course they won't get dinged for that.

Florida State is down 13-0 to a 3-7 FCS team at the end of the first quarter. Win tonight and the Dawgs are top 4.

Just to add to the FSU SOFT SCHEDULE.

UW has played 5 rated teams in the last 7 weeks.
And 4 of the teams are still rated.
And the lowest rated team is currently 22 (but will fall since AZ crushed them).

FSU has played NOBODY.
That feather in their cap that is LSU must the the size of fucking King Kong.
