Sounds like he’s already redshirted, so he will get one game this season and then only one more season? He must have really wanted to play here.

I don't think that's right. He has only played 1 season so even if they don't allow a redshirt for this year, he would still have 2 seasons left.

Gotcha. Not sure what I saw when I googled him, but I thought that he had played two seasons. I probably read something wrong.

To win the national title, you have to have big boys in the trenches who can disrupt the game. Booger McFarland believes there's one team in the current College Football Playoff field that struggles in that department.

McFarland thinks Washington is the College Football Playoff team that can't play "big boy football" when compared to the other postseason teams.

To make matters worse for the Huskies, McFarland ranks Washington fourth out of the four playoff teams due to roster talent and the eye test. He even went as far to say Kalen DeBoer's squad plays "basketball on grass."

they probably are 4th out of 4 in terms of on-field talent this year - i thought the 2016 version that lost to Bama was superior to this year's team in that regard. What this crew does have that Booger and lot of others aren't accounting for is BY FAR the best coaching staff on the planet (ok i guess i should give props to Saban, he's earned that, but seriously, no one outcoaches this crew!) Not to mention that with Penix UW has the best player at the most important position and their top 5 guys (Rome/Penix/Fautanu/Trice/Rosengarten) are as good as any the other 3 teams can put up. But since three of those were only 3-star guys coming out of high-school, much like the rest of this team, they don't measure up on that scale with any of the other three teams. As i've said on another post, that aspect is greatly mitigated by the superior development players get at UW.

No-one outcoaches this crew? Stanford, ASU, and WSU fans might disagree.

i will however admit to the tremendous coaching blunder of DeBoers at the end of the first half of the Apple Cup, calling timeout prematurely and allowing them to score. no one is perfect, not even the National Coach of the Year winner.
