California screamin game thread
Re: California screamin game thread
wow....a 50 yard FG.....god works in mysterious ways.
Still too much time on the clock, plus they have 3 timeouts.

We went into the half with 2 timeouts and now saving the three we have here? Flat out out coached and out efforts today. It sucks that I am more upset about Cal talking shit about last year's win than anyone coaching or playing today.

I know it sounds lame to say the Huskies beat themselves, but they really did. Six dropped passes in this game.

That was a joke. I might never watch us play Cal again. Unless someone hires away Wilcox we may never beat them. Jimmy can talk mad shit about Leach, but Cal owns us. They went to the 1 yard line in just over 2 minutes to win it. Joke show.
But, is there a single Seahawk or Husky fan alive that saw a two point lead with two minutes left and didn't know we'd lose?
Too many drops, too many piss poor decisions by Eason (sliding for a five yard loss?), and a very poorly timed false start. Our coaches remind me of Pete's staff against AZ. Just scared. When you are scared to play a team, your kids know it. We should fall out of the Top 20, and deservedly so. I actually see 4 losses from this group. Underwhelmed by just about everyone besides our FG Kicker! Oh. And Ahmed looked good. Lot of good it did for another anemic Husky offense.

As much as Coach Pete has done for the program, I really believe that if this was one of his better Boise State teams he wins this game. It seems like he's lost just enough to where he can't quite push his Husky teams to that top level like he did there.

Starting 3x midget wideouts is a recipe for total shit against a defense like Cal.
Puka, Osborne and Spiker rot on the bench while these dwarfs drop pass after pass and fail to get open down the field once for an entire game. When you're that size you can't ever force your way open and you're going to lose the majority of your contested opportunities. Cal's DB's bullied our weak WR starting core... it's embarrassing.
I'm starting to become convinced that Pete and Co. don't have a good feel on who the best players are.
