That was a tough watch.
5 or 6 3rd and longs converted by WSU either on broken plays or penalties.
The amount of false starts and missed blocking assignment by the OL.
The play calling once they got into the red zone.
It was all pretty ugly.

No that would be like a free time out. We had two offsides by Nose Tackles. Not sure if it was the same moron or not. You are literal staring at the ball in the center's hand. What is the upside of trying to time it. You are going to be offsides 97% of the time and even if you aren't what do you gain?? A tenth of a second????Captain 97 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 11:16 pmShouldn't the clock stop with the penalty?

That game was disgusting.
Something like 15 Dawg penalities to WSU's 6.
Coach looks like another woke Scott Servais type.
Can't get over his own bullshit.
His man boobs really showed today.

That didn’t lose the game. Having a first and goal from the 8 yd line and not having brains enough to get 8 yards on 4 plays is what lost the game.D-train wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 11:20 pmNo that would be like a free time out. So how do they decide to go to the short side of the field instead of the other side. What exactly was the thought process, they didn't want then to run to far and tire them out??

If the clock was running that would be like a free time out but the clock was stopped before the play. Seems like since the down is being replayed that the clock should be stopped just like it was before the play. What if the offense has an illegal motion penalty or something does that mean they get to have the clock restarted even though it was stopped before the play. Probably wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game but they would have to have snapped the ball on 4th down with about 20 seconds left if the clock didn't roll there.D-train wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 11:20 pmNo that would be like a free time out. Just stupid. I thought they were going to do a jump pass out of it or something clever like that but it was just a straight option. At least go the other way so you have more room to try and get to the edge.
