Michigan Wolverines’ head coach Jim Harbaugh’s seat is heating up. The Wolverines got crushed in another key game to Wisconsin, 35-14.
Anybody feel sorry for this dumb schmuck?

Wolverines pull out the victory against #14 Iowa. They needed that just to guarantee a winning record with games @PennSt, vs NotreDame, vs MichSt, and vs OhioSt remaining.

Harbaugh put that program back on the map. He has been bringing in top 15 draft classes each year (some more like top 5ish. He is not on the hot seat for me or any other reasonable person unless he has multiple down years. It is the same story with Peterson he is a top 20 coach. The Pac 12 and B1G even the ACC have higher academic standards than the SEC. If they want to compete with the ACC they should just have one standard for academics and another for "student athletes".

a little OT, but as we're discussing the state of football powerhouses - just browsing last night about the transfer portal, and took notice of Alabama DE Antonio Alfano. was a top 5 or 10 overall recruit nationally just a year ago - 6-4 285 lean, long arms, and explosive speed off the edge. no know connection to the west unfortunately. but after they stole Kaho from us (when we could really use a stud ILB about now), warms my heart to see his defection.

Harbaugh’s teams were better BEFORE he had all his own recruits.

Being tied for 3rd in the East Division with Indiana is not what Michigan fans signed up for. Would I take a 7 and 2 record and a perfect 5 and 0 out of my Huskies right now? Heck yes...but being better than Washington isn't what Michigan strives for. They will finish the season 2 and 1, but 9 and 3 with another loss to Ohio State won't cut it. He won't lose his job, but his seat won't get any colder either.

You think Michigan will beat State Penn on the road? I doubt it.

Great point....that should have read "they could finish the season 2 and 1" I think I am missing a game in there though. I know they play Indiana, and I feel they play someone else they should beat, and then Penn State and Ohio State.
