Deflated Hopes Desert Restart Game Thread
...on the odd chance there are any fans left after last week's debacle. too late for this season to be anything but a disappointment, now it's all about damage control and restoring order. Need to right the ship starting tonight, particularly with the looming Duck game looking increasingly formidable. Another showing like last week and some of the prized next recruiting class might start to waver. Win convincingly and the future still looks bright with the current young cast and talented incoming classes.
Key questions: will the run D finally show up? will the young receivers finally get a chance? will they grow some needed grit now they've been knocked down a few pegs?

I doubt I even watch. Headed to Tempe for ASU vs WSU now and the Lee Brice concert tonight. I won't be able to watch the Wildcats run for 300 yards while we counter with third down drops by a bunch of upper classmen receiverd....while stud recruits sit in the sidelines because they haven't paid the proper dues in practice.
Sorry, I havent been this disappointed since Nick Holt played prevent defense every week and Sark tried to make Locker a pocket passer and Chris Polk a decoy!

I'm starting to think Petersen doesn't know how to motivate kids who were pampered in high-school and spoiled by their experiences as highly sought-after recruits. You have to wonder if he just is too soft (or, if you prefer, too much of a nice-guy) to be the leader of a front-running program.

I'll watch but im not feeling confidant our front 7 can stop Khalil Tate. Game could get ugly quick. Hopefully Peterson opens up the playbook and let's the players play

Let's which players play? We know the Sr receivers and the Jr TE that has never improved since his Freshman year will play plenty.

Wow, what a start by the Dawgs on D! And the blocked punt was a nice touch as well
Re: Deflated Hopes Desert Restart Game Thread
And it goes for nothing. Jesus, can't even get one-two fuckin yards.
Re: Deflated Hopes Desert Restart Game Thread
Offensive front line isn't big enough to dominate.
Re: Deflated Hopes Desert Restart Game Thread
Ahmed is useless in short yardage situations. He’s fast but that’s about it.
Re: Deflated Hopes Desert Restart Game Thread
If the dawgs win this it will probably be the defense that does it.
