The PAC12 has approved a 20-game men’s basketball conference schedule for 2020-21. It's always been 18.

“We believe moving to a 20-game schedule will lead to more competitive schedules and help our programs and league achieve our goals of enhancing the Pac-12 basketball brand and preparation for postseason play,” Pac-12 Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer Jamie Zaninovich said in a release.

i dont see how this helps the league. so do they play 2 less non-conf games then? only way to get more teams in is to do better in non-con - beating each other up doesnt do anything.

I wondered the same thing. It is possible that they remove two patsies from their schedule, and the increased excitement over the recent recruiting classes improves the perception of the league....but lord knows that this year, two more Conference games would not have helped the Huskies Tourney seeding!
