Yeah, pretty much. Also i thought i read that their coach wasn't on good terms with Lake but that was probably just gossip.

Would help explain things though. Still, a local head coach gets a bug up his ass and steers kids away from the local University? Seems the coaches job should be helping his kids find the best fit, not personal vendettas.

I asked Jimmy Lake what he attributes the recent recruiting de-commitments to. He said this is the challenge of recruiting. "I attribute it to young high school kids. This is what happens."

Players can get “sponsored” by corporations or businesses to use their name and likeness. Husky O Lineman got sponsored by Dick’s Burgers...Oregon kids get added to anike’s payroll.
