Woah where is everyone? Guess i'm not the only one that hates these late night games
Football is hard for me to participate in a game thread. I am usually watching with buddies. Late games suck if you want to go to the game, but not that bad to watch.

We looked good. Take away the no call on the OPI and the long TD against the backups and imagine what that score looks like. Phenix was off and we still moved the ball. Good sign.

Prediction of 44-24
Actual score 40-22

Not too bad.

Georgia just scored to go up 39 to 22. I tried to tell you guys Kent St. was decent.
Quote from an article on ESPN:
Georgia coach Kirby Smart insisted that he wasn't all that displeased with his team's performance. He pointed out that the Bulldogs never had to punt, blocked a punt for a safety and finished with a 529-281 edge in total yards.

But Georgia has plenty to clean up.

“The fake punt is like a turnover,” Smart said. “When you have four turnovers, you're gonna have a game like that.”

Georgia being sloppy with the ball one game doesn't make Kent State World Beaters. They benefitted from 4 turnovers and a fake punt.
Georgia NEVER punted the ball.

Do you know another team that can turn the ball over 4 times and still double the other teams score and yardage?
Georgia is the real deal.

We may not have shown up to the game, but neither did The Tree.
You must have been watching some other game.

Almost 500 yards of offense. 40 points. Over 300 yards passing. Taulapapa with 120 yards on only 9 carries. Odunze 8 receptions for
161 yards. Henry was 4-4 on FGs. D forced 3 turnovers and had 8 sacks....

Didn't show up??? And I thought I was drunk last night.

Kent St. a mid major only lost be 17 on the road to the #1 team in the country. A team that beat the Ducks 49-3. Kent St. is good for a mid major.

Also, how did they pick the flag up on the targeting call on clear helmet to helmet contact with our guys head snapping back. Could not believe that.

Never said Georgia wasn't for real, not sure how me saying Kent State is pretty good is somehow discrediting the team that beat them, it's actually the opposite.

The targeting call was NUTS! The crown of the helmet hit him in the chin. I thought it was the definition of targeting. Defenseless receiver, hit in the head and the defender lead with the head.

I know! Yet that Dean Blanclowno said it wasn't and the announcers nodded along. WTF were they looking at. If that wasn't targeting, what is???
