I've been playing ball all day but I just caught the last minute of the game on YouTube, and that was the longest minute ever!
WOW...where does this rank in the rivalry?

Not a bad prediction huh?Fungo wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 4:53 amLast week I was going to post some of my usual complaints about the game but there was no game thread and I didn't want to make a thread with my stupid comments likely being the only entry for the whole game. Unless Grandma Lynn has chimed in on here I'm probably the oldest fan that posts here, or ever has posted here . I graduated from the UW when tuition was $173.00 per quarter. I have always loved the Dawgs but I am not a purist like Michael. My comments are pretty much limited to emotional outbursts with none of the detailed X's and O's Michael is so good at. Anyway I'll try to post more on the upcoming games now that I know someone actually cares. By the way, I predict a close game Saturday with the Dawgs prevailing 35 to 27.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 8:49 pmI think we even had more contributors on the Times forum than here. As much better as this place is, that is my only regret. That obviously the die hard Husky fans either don't post anymore or didn't make the migration over here.

Wow. I don't agree with DeBoer playing all year like a riverboat gambler, then running in 3rd and short and not going for it after. And I won't change my stance on that. We outplayed them by a LOT in the first half, and they had a critical turnover, and we let them off the hook.
But, great second half adjustments on offense. A little luck to tho. Nix going down hurt them, but...as much as Duck fans might talk about the back falling? We blew that play up at point of attack, which led to the slip.
Food for thought. I wouldn't have been pissed last year, because I expected that shit out of Lake.

Amazing game. Penix is a legend
Re: It's Duck week!
Instant classic, terrific game. my Duck fan buddy there is lamenting the slip, the Nix injury, the lack of pass rush and especially the failure of the safety to make a play on the last TD pass. But we can just as easily point to an incovenient slip (at the 1 on the would-be kickoff return) and take credit for the big hit on Nix to knock him out, the ridiculous velocity and accuracy on the two TD throws, and the sterling pass pro to make it possible.
