He was looking at sitting for a third consecutive year. I think he just wants to play and I hope it not at Wazoo.

Which is why I don't think it will be a Pac 12 school. Who is looking for a QB? DTR is gone in UCLA, but they have a guy coming in and a grad transfer. Does he go to AZ? ASU? I don't know, maybe the family likes Jon Smith and he looks at Oregon State. But, my thinking is he hasn't developed. If he thought he was going to be a backup next year, while that's not great, it still would have meant another year to learn this offense and then kick ass for two years in an offense that took Penix to what looks like a first round selection next year. This makes me believe that he doesn't even think he can start after Penix leaves.
He is going to go Mid Major. Just another example where playing against Washington HS football players doesn't make you a five star guy....IMO.

It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at Eastern Washington but I'm guessing his sights are higher.

this puts us really thin at the position especially after losing Kienholz to OSU with the transfer portal supposedly all picked over by now. All that is except for the newly announced dual-threat Walker Howard. We just signed a transfer CB from there, could he be next?

Obviously we need a third QB but I hope we only see one on the field when games are still in doubt and let the Moustache mop up when we are up by 50.
