The Red River Rivalry is a lot like the Apple Cup. No doubt in my mind we should have kicked the shit out of the Cougs, but they had a very talented QB and a highly motivated team. Shit happens. Oklahoma looked like National Title contenders at the time of that win.

i think there's a line of children's books in this mold - one titled If You Give a Mouse a Cookie - can always be extended to ridiculous lengths.

Texas can't be feeling very good after watching Arizona give Oklahoma their worst loss of the season.

In addition to the loss to Oklahoma they also had a couple bad wins. Only beat 4-8 Houston by 7 and only beat TCU who lost to Prime and the Buffaloes by 3

I am tired of all the talk. Damn I wish this game was today! Also, anyone else tired of the BS excuse making for some teams? USC's backup QB throws 6 TDs in a route, but Ohio State has all these excuses for scoring 3 points? Three points against Missouri!? You think Ohio State is excited about next year and the offenses they have to face in us, USC and Oregon knowing that they have THIS TYPE of offense if they lose a QB who CHOSE to leave and one WR!? The QB is leaving for Syracuse of all things. If he was so great that he would have made that much of a difference, why was ne not able to get a better offer that Syracuse when he entered the portal?
That said, this was not the Michigan or Penn State defense that Ohio State was facing. It was a remarkably average Missouri defense that was missing its two best players Ennis Rakestraw and Ty'Ron Hopper.

And even without the two Missouri stars on the other side, Buckeyes starter Devin Brown looked lost. And when he went out, Lincoln Kienholz was even worse.

Feels like WSU and OSU aren't the only ones moving to a weaker conference.

FSU doing the committee a favor! What a joke. I thought there defense was so good it didn't matter who played QB for them!? And don't give me this nothing to play for bullshit. What does Georgia have to play for? The ACC is a joke, their Championship game was Louisville and FSU!

It's more than just the QB. They had 20 players that either hit the portal or opted out of the bowl game.
