I still can't get over what Captain brought up regarding the 500+ yards and less than 20 points. That is impossible to do without turnovers and we did it. Just complete dumb fuckery. Good news is if they can fix the mistakes the have an offense capable of putting up 500 yards vs. what was supposed to be a good defense. I think we squeak in to a pre Christmas bowl game but I think the Hawks are going to need to win 12 or 13 in order to get my 20 total wins.

I was just going to make this point myself. I just looked over the stats and they say that the UW could have won that game easily by three touchdowns. The score could have been 40 to 14. If they could neutralize the dumbass play calls and brainless penalties they could win 4 more games. Their defense looks pretty stout and their offense is looking quite capable when not doing fade routes on 3rd down with 2 to go for a TD, or long sideways passes on a critical 3rd and 3 to end a promising drive with a missed FG. This team would be 5-0 and ranked in the upper teens with disciplined coaching and decent play calling in critical situations. I also think Rutgers sucks and I think they lose their next four games.

If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. Ifs are fiction, the facts are this is one of the least prepared football teams I've ever seen, and the Head Coach is an ego maniac douchebag. Real hard to watch and even harder to root for.

I’ve seen your aunt and that’s not that hard to imagine! :D I agree, Fisch makes it hard to be optimistic.

Well at least DeBoer is flaming out in Alabama, oh wait
On a beautiful fall Saturday night inside a rocking Bryant-Denny Stadium, DeBoer made a strong case that he's the best college football coach in America at this very moment. In the last 12 months, he's beaten Texas' Steve Sarkisian, he's beaten Oregon's Dan Lanning, he's beaten USC's Lincoln Riley and now he's bested Smart, the owner of two of the last three national championships. The 49-year-old DeBoer is a stunning 24-1 in his last 25 games, the lone loss coming against Michigan in last season's national championship game.

DeBoer is a stone-cold killer, an offensive genius who unlocked the best version we've ever seen of Jalen Milroe against the Bulldogs. He and offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan were in their bag all night, especially straight from the jump, giving Smart and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumman's defense absolute fits. Alabama looked faster, executed better and looked like a true juggernaut throughout a first half that was even better than anything DeBoer could have dreamed up

I am obviously not happy with losing two games that should have been easy wins, but I am not ready to bail like you guys are. I think they have the ability to clean things up. This is basically an entirely new team playing in a n entirely new system. I would expect there to be some growing pains as the coaching staff learns their personnel and the players learn the system. Its a whole lot better to be losing because you shot yourself in the foot rather than because you are getting run out of the building.

Obviously there is a lot of work to do but I absolutely believe they can beat Iowa, Indiana and UCLA to make a bowl game. I also don't think the other teams on the schedule are as untouchable as they might seem. Oregon barely beat a big sky team and needed a last second field goal to beat Boise State. Michigan only beat Minnesota by a field goal and they basically played an even game with USC. Penn State only beat Bowling Green by one TD. Everyone has chinks in the armor and if the Dawgs can iron some things out and stay out of their own way I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull off an upset before this season is over.

That same Boise State team just beat the shit out of a Cougar team that beat us. We have played two decent teams all year and lost both. We make the same mistakes over and over again and are INCREDIBLY undisciplined. I mean, maybe the least disciplined team I have ever seen, period, end of story....EVER. That's on Fisch and his staff. Yet? Fisch blames the kids.

Sorry, I don't see that jackass ever winning me over. These grown men have let these kids down, and then? Blamed the kids. Putrid play calling and no discipline. Yet, don't look at the coaches, all the players. SMH

How about Michigan? If I'm Michigan I think I'm a little nervous coming to husky stadium. I see a team that's lost but also played pretty damn good at times, and also didn't quit. I'm willing to give Fisch some credit for that. The huskies faced two teams that had the game circled and lost. I would like to think they've had this game circled, and what's more have the proverbial chip on one's shoulder, out to prove something in terms of this season.

Looks to me like another test, which makes it an interesting matchup. I expect them to beat Michigan, and look good doing it. Then a lot is forgiven and we get on with the season. Is that asking a lot or is Michigan seen as an easy opponent?

They are playing Michigan Saturday aren't they? Sometimes I feel totally disconnected with the rest of the world geez

Yeah, Michigan at home on Saturday. I have Luke Combs tickets, and that is probably a good thing. Michigan has a lot of doubters, and I don't think they like us very much, so we aren't the only team with something to prove. Besides, how did having a lot of negativity and doubters work for us heading to Rutgers? I realize the WSU game wasn't at Husky stadium, but it sure as fuck wasn't in the Palouse either. This team inspires zero confidence in me, and the coaching staff even less. Fish has managed to lose two very winnable games and the locker room, all in just over a month. Bad deal, IMO.

Your welcome to your opinion but I think its asinine to bail on a coach after 5 games especially with 59 new players on the roster. Frankly I am surprised that they have looked as good as they have thus far. I can't even imagine trying to assemble and entire new roster and install a totally new system in 7 months.
