Kraken vs Crapitals game thread

I haven't started a game thread in quite a while and the team has been winning, so everyone brace yourselves for a stinker tonight.

Man, I'm excited about this team. Even with the offseason additions I figured we'd have about a .400 - .450 team. It's like Hakstol said last season about turning those one-goal defeats into one-goal victories and that's exactly what happened, so far they've flipped their won-lost record.

The team is really deep. The first two lines are on par with most other teams, but their 3rd and 4th lines are better than other teams.

Yes, they don't really have any weaknesses except for goalie. Jones had his moment in the sun, but starting to see his true self. I've never been sold on Gru as a upper echelon goalie by any means. He lets in way too many easy shots.

Maybe they can swing a trade for a true upper level goalie before the end of the season.

Oh man, they did it again! Spent most of the game fighting back from down 2-0 to force OT and then Matty B in 7 seconds with the game winner!

Gru for the 2nd straight lets in 2 goals early and them shuts it down. We can win with this Gru.

So that's 7 straight wins and 12 out of 14. The Golden Showers lose so guess what: this team after 23 games is 2 points out of 1st place. Who thought THAT would happen?
