I would think not committing penalties that result in power plays is huge. Even more so than a holding call by an O lineman or a personal foul or PI by the defense given the huge penalty having to play short handed.

Those games were huge in Canada from the 50s through the 70s. The one we had was a Christmas gift from our Canadian uncle on my mother's side. That was in the mid 70s if i recall. It was almost identical to the one in that picture. Most of the development of table hockey has come out of Canada and Sweden.

This guy was probably the biggest contributor...

Have to add this - the Kraken are also automatically in the NHL entry draft lottery and are given the third-best odds of landing the #1 pick. The worst they can do is sixth.
