NBA Finals
NBA Finals
No longer an NBA fan but pretty amazing that two teams who have not won a title in a combined 106 years are playing. Suns never have. Lot of history though. Check out the Pics of the leader players. Funny I remember more guys that played in the 70s 80s than the past 10-15 years.

Re: NBA Finals
It's refreshing not having a team i despise in the finals, not that i plan on watching it anyway.

The funny thing is? If there was a team I hated playing I might watch.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 10:55 amIt's refreshing not having a team i despise in the finals, not that i plan on watching it anyway.
Re: NBA Finals
Yeah I just saw Chris Paul plays for the Suns now? I couldn't name a single other player on either team. Blistful ignorance.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 12:59 pmThe funny thing is? Re: NBA Finals
I usually watch a bit of the playoffs. The Suns have a big man that played at AZ that I remember, and Devon Booker. The Bucks have the Greek Freak and the Holiday kid that played at UCLA.

Jrue? Yeah his brother played for us if you recall.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 2:59 pmI usually watch a bit of the playoffs. The Suns have a big man that played at AZ that I remember, and Devon Booker. The Bucks have the Greek Freak and the Holiday kid that played at UCLA.

U.S. Olympic team is 0-2 in their exhibition schedule now, with losses to Australia and that basketball mecca Nigeria.

Re: NBA Finals
i'm actually enjoying the playoffs this year, and especially the finals, for the first time since Choklahoma, or actually pre- Howard Schultz.
Much more entertaining watching the Freak, Booker and CP3 than watching LeBron bully opponents to the rim or Harden dominate the ball for 20 seconds every possession. and better than the old days retreads when one of either San Antonio, Lakers, or more recently Golden State owned the court and no one else stood a chance.
