Apparently several of those players were drafted with agreements in place with other teams to trade them.

Hopefully both of the Fleury brothers can play and aren't physically handicapped.

Anyone here who knows Hockey well...did we get a decent team here? What little I've read it's a team of unproven young players.

The roster isn't finished. We are in good shape with the cap.

I found one Twitter thread where a lot of NHL fans were commenting and about 85 -90 percent of them felt that Francis completely botched the draft, especially with several guys he picked who look like fourth-line and AHL fodder when he could have picked guys like Tarasenko and Domi, even with their contracts.

Most of them seemed to be aware too that there would be other deals made in conjunction with the draft but it appeared that Francis hadn't made them, mainly because other GMs learned from the Vegas draft what not to do.

One comment was that Francis is trying to be the first GM ever to get fired before the franchise plays its first game. He built the Carolina Hurricanes and they're pretty good so trust the process as the cliche goes.

Personally, right now I'm looking at this roster and not even seeing a playoff team. I do think there are good free agents that are going to want to sign with us so that will help. We have a good goalie in Driedger. Hopefully Buffalo passes on Owen Power in the amateur draft but even if they don't the 2-pick should be an All-Star too.
