We were already thin at center(Matty Beniers can't get here soon enough). It’s an interconference matchup on the ice in the Buckeye State as the newest team to hit the ice takes on a recent expansion club of their own. The Seattle Kraken are on the road as they make the trip to face the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday night. Seattle comes in off the first victory in franchise history as they edged Nashville 4-3 on the road Thursday night. Columbus rolled to a one-sided 8-2 victory over Arizona at home Thursday night in their series opener. Seeing that the Kraken are playing their third contest in franchise history, this marks the first time that the two teams have taken the ice against each other.

Well Oleksiak"The Big Rig" logged massive ice time with 24 minutes against Nashville.. Him and Larsson were out there awhile, especially in the 3rd period. Gourde has started the season injured, but we already knew that when we took him in the draft. I'm not sure what happened to McCann though. But stealing ABB "Alex Barré-Boulet from the lightning was a steal!!

Only 2 games in and we've already had our first player AND fan fight!! If that doesn't get you fired up for tonight's game, I don't know what will! Screw Smashville

Looks like we walked into the lion's den and got our asses whooped but pulled out the win regardless. I get why Gio named Dunner the player of the game. If that fight doesn't happen, Seattle doesn't score those 2 goals on the power play. He really stepped up. And did you see Lauzon?! He wanted to step in for Dunn and take the fight, but we've seen from Vince in the preseason that he can more than handle his own. Moments like these bring a team together.
