Kraken vs Gravelanche Game One game thread

Post by DavidGee24 » Wed Apr 19, 2023 5:26 am

And the Kraken, who hadn't beaten a playoff team in regulation in over three months, put the boots to the Gravelanche!

And look who got the first goal, a guy (Tolvanen) that his team didn't want any more. Thanks, Pedotors!

It sucks that I didn't get to watch the game as it was the ESPN feature game and even on ESPN+ I don't get the replay.

But how about that, somebody forgot to tell our boys that they were playing against the defending champs.

I used to go to Totems' matches when I was a kid and would catch a Thunderbirds' match occasionally, but last night was wicked good hockey. I'll be watching the rest of Seattle's run.

That game last night had an hell of a pace back-and-forth. Very exciting to watch.

That was my first hockey experience too, I went to a game at the Center Arena in '73. I didn't go to my next one until my first Anaheim Mighty Ducks game over 20 years later.

Ha, old school. Doubt we will see any dead octopus flopped onto the ice from unruly fans. That used to be fun.

Maybe Bud Light can do a tranny commercial that targets white male hockey fans for the Stanley Cup playoffs this year.
