Announcers pointed out that the Kracken are just too fast for the Stars. The Stars play a disciplined game but the Kracken dump the puck deep into center ice where their forwards out run the defensemen. The sixth goal was a perfect example. The Kracken forward takes the puck down the right side and the defenseman of the Stars goes with him. The Stars goalie is pulled over to defend the short side of the goal while another Kraken forward comes down the left side with no defender near. The guy with the puck starts to head towards the corner and then passes the puck out to the other forward on the left. Wide open net, easy goal! The announcers start saying that the Stars are playing their game well, but they don't seem to have an answer to the speed the Kracken have and that the puck is usually sent long out of the Kracken defensive zone.
This next game is going to be interesting. The Kracken utilize all four of their forward lines while other teams typically use only three with the fourth line doing the penalty killing. And as illustrated last night, the Kracken have too many scorers to plan a defensive scheme for. Seven goals scored last night by seven different players. Over the season, the Kracken had 13 players with ten or more goals. Other teams can't concentrate on one or two "stars." Even if the Kracken don't win out this series, they certainly have proved they can play with the big boys!

This is best hockey I've ever watched. I never followed the NHL, because we didn't have a team. And this isn't my old Totems or T-Birds!
