I haven't been on an airplane since 2018. The time before that was 2012.douche wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 6:12 pmHow about when you're on an airplane?Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 9:06 pmWhen I'm in line, I prefer to have people 6' away from me.![]()

I hate flying.
-the germs
-loud people
-crying babies
-motion sickness
-rude people
-sitting in a seat that's still 'warm'
ALL GROSS

Re: Vaccine vs. Mask
I hear ya.
I was on a plane last month (Mexico and back). Trip down was great, plane was half empty.
Coming home, however, was altogether different. Full house, baby crying...
I've discovered recently that what really bothers me about flying (even more than the flying itself), is the airport. Find parking, (or catch a cab), stand in line to check in, stand in line for screening, wait around for boarding, stand in line to board... it's all so tiresome and painful.
If I were to stumble on to a lottery win or large inheritance, I would never fly commercial again.

I drive everywhere. I live in SE Washington and don't think twice about heading to Arizona, which happens to be a 17 hour drive. Sometimes I've done it in one day, but mostly I either stay in Vegas or Jackpot the first day.
I also don't think twice about heading to California for work. SE Washington to Sacramento is only a 12 hour drive....easy-peasy.
Re: Vaccine vs. Mask
Driving is the better option. You can move at your own pace. And there's so much more to see.
And no crying babies
And no crying babies
